I might have over-rated it, but it deserves it. At first glance I thought this was a graveyard(you have to admit, they look a tad like tombstones). It really hits you. Usually, humans rely on all their senses, we're dependent on them. Take one away and everything seems enhanced. If you're in a dark graveyard and you see a light, you think "ghost" or something. Blindfolded and hear a noise? It makes you uneasy. So this really gives off a spooky and mysterious feeling. I love how the, er, runes? Tombstones? Honorary markers? I don't know really what they are(which adds to the mystique of it all). I love how they're semi transparent at the bases, giving them a ghostly feel, like they're there but they're not. I feel like they're living, and are reaching up towards the sky(I'm not the artist so I can only say what I think). Also, the balls of light floating, or rushing(whatever they're doing) towards the guy add to the effect. Are they spirits? Is it magic? Are they fairies(Well... I doubt it, but still)? Are they just balls of light? What is the guy doing there? It looks like he's determined to get somewhere, or he's searching. And if he is, what for? Is he the cause of the stones and the lights? Or is some force working against him? What's waiting for him as he continues? So many questions. And, not everyone can make the picture actually look like it's raining. I can clearly see that it's raining and it's stormy. It looks like someone merged real life into a painting, and I love it.
